Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal crash on the Mountain Road this morning.
It happened at 6.45am just after the Bungalow on the approach to Brandywell:
The Mountain Road was shut for over three hours – the police road closure notice stated this was for ‘fatal road traffic collision investigations’.
The route has now re-opened – Inspector Derek Flint is urging anyone who saw what happened to contact Police Headquarters:
