The Isle of Man's worst ever civilian air crash will be commemorated in the UK today.
At 11am Mayor of Horwich David Grant will lay a wreath at the Winter Hill transmitter site to remember those who died in a plane crash there 66 years ago.
35 members of the Manx motor trade lost their lives when their plane came down on its way to Manchester on February 27, 1958.
An exhibition about the disaster is also taking place at Horwich Heritage in Lancashire.
Douglas Rotary Club is also holding a service from 11am at Cooil y Ree Park in St. John's.
