A new provider of postal services in a central area of Douglas has been announced in light of a post office closing.
From Monday July 15. the Spar on Westmoreland Road will provide postal counter services, as well as the existing parcel collection service until March 31 2025.
It's to replace services provided by Windsor Road Post Office, which will close for good at 3pm on Wednesday July 10.
The Isle of Man Post Office says it's very grateful to the outgoing sub postmistress, Lynda Braidwood, for the services she and her team have provided on its behalf.
Postal services offered at Westmoreland Road from July 15th:
- Counter services will be provided between 09:00 to 17:00hrs Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 12:00hrs on Saturdays.
- Parcel collection services will be available from 08:00 to 19:00hrs Monday to Sundays, including bank holidays.
