UK residents who need emergency medical care on Island will now receive it for free if it's within six months of their arrival.
The Reciprocal Healthcare Agreement has been updated to extend the period of free care, which was previously three months.
Government says this agreement extends both ways, meaning Isle of Man residents will also be covered if falling ill in the UK within six months.
This is the first review of the arrangement, which has been in place since 2010.
