Chief Minister Alf Cannan says he hasn't made any assumptions about the environmental impact a windfarm would have at Earystane.
In Tynwald this week, he faced questions about the proposed facility from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
He wanted to know what data had been used to come up with the assumptions.
Mr Cannan said an environmental impact study hadn't yet been finished:
