The Environmental Impact Assessment of the chosen onshore windfarm site will not be completed until 2025.
That's according to the Chairman of Manx Utilities, Tim Crookall, in response to a written question by Jason Moorhouse.
A Preliminary Ecological Assessment took place and was considered as part of the site selection process.
Mr Crookall adds that the effect on people is also being assessed as part of the social impact assessment, which considers noise and visual impact.
