With Christmas looming all of the Island’s high street stores are starting to put out their window displays in time for the early Christmas rush.
3fm’s been speaking to local businesses and shoppers
to see what you think.

We’ve found that shoppers across the Island are of the
opinion that there are more bargains online.

Also that there’s more variety and range of goods than
what is available in Strand Street.

It seems that Manx Companies are losing out this year to
cheaper online alternatives because of the current financial situation.

Although some local companies we spoke to believe that
there is a more personal touch to buying goods when you go into a local Manx shop.
