Manx Wildlife Trust says a new species of ant has been found on the Island.
The ant, Lasius platythorax has been found at Rosehill Quarry by super volunteer Sue Harvey.
She also found a new type of centipede and slug last month.
The charity says shorter hairs on the insect's upper lip is the way to tell it from other ants.
