Despite the wettest summer on record, Curraghs Wildlife Park has reported a big boost in visitor numbers this year.
Visitor numbers, season ticket holders and shop sales are all much higher than 2011 and the Wildlife Park has been shortlisted in the Awards for Excellence.
Visitor numbers increased by six per cent, season ticket sales were up by a fifth and the recently refurbished gift shop saw a sales increase of 63 per cent
The park’s general manager says they’re on course for their best year since 2006 and are looking to build on this in 2013.
