A campaign, launched by a local charity has been deemed 'a wild success'.
'Wilder Future' - an initiative by the Manx Wildlife Trust focuses on the decline of wild areas across the Island, it also aims to raise support for action to safeguard natural environments.
The charity says the launch of the campaign, which took place last month at the Courthouse in Ramsey attracted hundreds of people, and the largest number of new members ever recruited at an event.
The exhibit hosted live demonstrations of local marine life, rescued hedgehogs and a film of Manx residents chronicling the decline of wildlife in their lifetime.
CEO of MWT Tim Graham says he hopes in the upcoming months people will recognise the value of the campaign, and support it.
