The Department of Infrastructure says its traffic wardens don't have any powers in a car park belonging to Douglas Council.
A Freedom of Information request from an unnamed Douglas councillor asked about the Thomas Keig apartments in Willaston after complaints from residents.
They wanted to know about parking enforcement - and whether the DOI and local authority had an arrangement.
However, in its response the department said it didn't have any information about its powers to enforce parking there, or any authorisation, delegation, agreement, parking order or other arrangement for the site.
