The Isle of Man Government is beginning work to prepare for assisted dying, following Royal Assent yesterday.
The Department of Health and Social Care will develop the necessary framework, including staff training, safe medicine management and safeguards.
Certain parts of the Capacity Act must also be in force before, which is currently expected by April 2028.
No launch date has been agreed and the service won't begin until all clinical, practical and safeguarding arrangements are in place.
