A new wastewater treatment works has been provisionally approved by the Island’s Planning Committee.
Manx Utilities announced today that its plans to build the facility, which would be located off Glenfaba Road in Peel was upheld by the committee.
Full approval will not be received until after the three-week appeal window, with land ownership and planning conditions to be addressed before any work commences.
The first phase of construction is planned for autumn 2024.
