A local charity offering bereavement support for families insists it's still available to help during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Cruse IOM gives confidential bereavement care to people of all ages and says whilst its base in Tromode is currently closed, its staff are able to assist others remotely.
Phone support is on hand for adults and young people by calls, texts or other methods, while a bespoke service is an option for parents and carers of younger children, according to the organisation.
The group can be contacted on 668 191 - operators will be available between 9am and Noon every weekday and voicemail messages can be left at any other time - the team says it aims to respond to any enquiries within 24 hours.
