The opening of a new integrated care centre in the West is being hailed as a 'red letter day' for the Islands health service.
Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, and Health Minister, David Ashford MHK, officially opened the Western Wellbeing Centre in Peel earlier this week.
The facility is designed to be a single point of contact for all health and care services in the West of the Island, run by a newly-formed alliance of healthcare professionals aimed at making access to services in the region easier.
Mr Ashford has said the complex is a 'blue print for working with people requiring care and support in the future'.
