Volunteers issue £1,040 worth of vouchers to families in need.
The weekly value of food vouchers distributed to families in need on the Isle of Man has exceeded a thousand pounds for the first time this year.
That is the latest from fundraisers who issued vouchers worth £1,040 in week-four of the summer break.
The support is being offered to families whose children normally qualify for free school meals.
It was provided by the Manx government last year but when it was scrapped, husband-and-wife team Sammi and Gareth Farrel launched a Crowdfunding page to families on low-incomes.
They say they are now looking for extra funding as cash supplies are running low.
If you would like to help IoM Community Meal Donations stretch the scheme to the end of the summer holidays, you can donate here.
