With hot weather on the way for the weekend, an Island charity is reminding people not to leave dogs locked in hot cars.
The ManxSPCA took to Facebook to issue the plea, with temperatures set to soar to 26 Celsius on Saturday.
The Foxdale-based organisation says even with the windows cracked open and cars parked in shade, heat can reach deadly levels in mere minutes.
Its advice is to leave dogs safely at home.
