A yellow weather warning has been issued for waves blowing water and debris onto roads this weekend.
Wind and tides could combine just after midday on Sunday and the warning runs from 10am until 2pm.
Conditions mean problems for promenades in Douglas, Castletown, Laxey, and Ramsey.
The new Douglas sea defence wall will be closed to help stop the water.
