A yellow weather warning remains in place today for coastal overtopping.
Ronaldsway Met Office says spring tides and fresh winds could mean some waves washing onto roads at around 10.45am today.
Forecasters say Shore Road in Rushen and the north end of Douglas promenade are expected to be worst affected.
The warning remains in place until the early hours of Thursday morning.
