A yellow weather warning about freezing temperatures remains in place today.
Ronaldsway Met Office says higher ground will see strong to gale force winds, and there's also a risk of wintry showers.
Forecasters say that could mean icy patches on roads above around 1,000 feet.
The warning runs until 3pm today.
