Forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping this afternoon.
The Met Office says water and debris could wash onto Shore Road in Rushen as well as promenades in Castletown and Douglas.
High tide today is at 2.45pm.
The warning runs from 12.30pm until 4.30pm.
