A yellow weather warning is in place for heavy rain and thunderstorms today.
The notice - which comes into force at midday, will remain in place until 11pm this evening.
Forecasters predict up to 40mm of rain - which could result in localised flooding.
The Met office says the whole Island is it at risk - although the nature of showers means some areas may get a downpour and others remain dry.
