A yellow weather warning is now in place for frost and ice patches, and wintry showers.
The Ronalsdway Met Office says temperature are expected to fall below zero Island wide this evening.
Snow on higher ground could develop from around 2am, leading to more widespread areas of frost and ice.
The warning is in place until midday tomorrow.
