A yellow weather warning is in place today for coastal overtopping.
The Ronaldsway Met Office says the warning is in place until 1am tomorrow morning.
Strong winds could cause slight overtopping of water and minor debris today, and are expected to ease tomorrow morning.
Areas at risk are Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey Promenades and possibly Shore Road and Castletown Promenade.
