Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping today.
It's in force from 10.30am until 1.30pm this Friday, April 17.
Forecasters say areas most likely to be affected include Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown promenade and the northern end of Douglas prom.
They add Laxey and Ramsey proms will also be hit, but to a lesser extent.
