The Department of Infrastructure says bad weather has delayed work on the Beinn Y Phott road.
The route had shut for asphalting - but the DOI says workers were confronted with high winds, driving rain and thick mist this morning.
As a result, the work has been suspended for today and will remain shut.
On Facebook, the department says it hopes to finish the repair work tomorrow.
