Police are warning the public to plan ahead as work begins on a busy road in Douglas next week.
Manx Utilities has detected a burst water main under a road near the Quarterbridge roundabout.
Work will commence from Monday morning, starting from 9am.
Although the authority says it hopes to have the work completed in just a day, the full extent won't be known until workers have broken ground.
24 hour Four-way traffic lights will be in place for the safety of the team until further notice.
