Manx Utilities says water demand is down by 10 per cent.
It comes after a recent hosepipe ban, as concerns grew that water levels in the Island's reservoirs were depleting.
The authority has been urging Island residents to cut down on their use of water, following the decision.
It now says it wants to thank the public for their efforts, and says it is making a difference.
It isn't known when the ban will be lifted.
