Police say they'll be monitoring the situation in the northwest of the Island after motorists were seen speeding through roadworks.
On Facebook, the Roads Policing Unit says it's had reports of drivers not slowing down through a temporary 40mph limit on part of the TT course.
The stretch between Handley's Corner in Michael and McGuinness's in Barregarrow is being resurfaced by the Department of Infrastructure in preparation for this year's racing.
Officers say they'll be in the area to enforce the limit and protect the safety of DOI workers.
