The emergency services were called to the help of a visitor yesterday after they fell ill in a remote location in the south of the Island.
The incident happened just after midday when the walker fell unconscious at the top of Milner Tower in Port Erin and couldn't be carried down the stairs.
A rescue helicopter from North Wales was called - they took the man to Noble's Hospital, where he's said to be recovering.
The Isle of Man Ambulance Service, Port Erin Coastguards and Douglas Coastguards all took part in the rescue operation.
