A former police officer who stole from colleagues and from a search address has been jailed.
Kevin Williams pleaded guilty to the theft of £60,000 from the Isle of Man Police Federation Funds.
Yesterday, he was found guilty of theft of a Rolex watch to the value of £6,750 and today he was handed a custodial sentence of two years and eight months.
Superintendent Stephen Maddocks, the Senior Investigating Officer for these matters said 'Mr Williams,abused his position of trust in the most appalling way.'
Mr Williams was dismissed following an internal discipline hearing on Wednesday, August 29 2018.
