The Island’s emergency services have been thanked for their response to yesterday’s flooding.
Heavy rain on Wednesday morning led to problems across the Island, with many roads closed.
Chief Constable Gary Roberts took to Twitter to praise the work of those who battled the floodwater.
Today, the Raggatt in Peel remains closed because of flooding from the River Neb.
Awful conditions today and some great work being done by @iompolice officers, staff from @iominfra and the brilliant Civil Defence volunteers. Stay safe. https://t.co/ulg8pjKdrH
