Police are asking motorists in the south of the Island to keep their eyes out for horses this weekend.
TREC IOM is holding a two-day event around Port Erin and Port St Mary today and on Sunday.
The competition, which involves orienteering, will see a large number of riders and their mounts out and about on the roads.
Officers are asking people to be considerate and safe when driving past them.
