Allowing your dogs to swim in reservoirs could carry a hefty fine.
Thats the message from Manx Utilities, who say some people have letting their pets swim in them.
They say that this is a safety risk to pets and people alike.
They have added that this along with a number of other offences could carry a penalty of up to £2,500.
We're aware that some people have been letting their dogs swim in our reservoirs. We know it’s very warm at present, but don’t allow your dog to swim in reservoirs – this is a safety risk for them, you and your drinking water! Under the Water Act 1991 this carries a hefty fine. pic.twitter.com/DfVTifcgvk
