The public are being warned about the danger of grass fires due to the current hot and dry spell.
The Fire and Rescue Service has issued guidelines geared toward ensuring everyone enjoys the weather as much as possible whilst reducing the risk of such an incident.
Wildfires can spread through unattended barbeques, campfires and irresponsible disposal of cigarettes.
The dryness of the grass makes it easily ignitable.
