People are being warned to be wary of a fake website which is claiming to be associated with a life assurance company based on the Isle of Man.
The Financial Supervision Commission says the fxaxa.co.uk site is falsely stating it is linked to Douglas based company AXA.
It claims to offer a full range of financial products but appears to be compiled primarily of Chinese content including a Chinese telephone number.
The Commission says it's not linked to the genuine AXA Isle of Man Limited and has warned people not to use the potentially fraudulent website saying people could become the victim of advanced fee fraud.
