A local authority in the south of the Island is appealing for children to stay safe over the Christmas holidays.
Castletown commissioners say the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team were called to a number of incidents at the weekend where youngsters got into building sites and derelict properties.
The board says it does its best to make sure the sites are secure but the children have been committing vandalism to get in.
It's asking people to call police if they spot people trying to get into buildings over the festive period.
