Police say they think youths have forced entry to ‘Bleak House’ on Mooragh Promenade at some point between June 19th and yesterday.
They gained access to the building - which is better known as The Peveril Hotel – by forcing the wire mesh on the rear basement window.
Officers say they are concerned that people could come to harm due to the dilapidated condition of the building.
Anyone who sees activity around the area is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
