The Island's Fire and Rescue Service is reminding people not to leave cooking unattended after a blaze at the weekend.
Just after 4am on Saturday, the emergency services were called to a flat on Woodbourne Road in Douglas.
They spent around two hours putting out the flames and ventilating the property - and say unattended food on a cooker was to blame.
They're reminding people not to leave cookers unattended, and double check everything is off when you finish.
