Lieutenant Jamie Adamson Returns Home to Commemorate Island\'s Servicemen
Yesterday saw Armed Forces Day, a chance to commemorate servicemen who fought for the Island from World War 2 upto current conflicts.
The Island has always had a large contingent of soldiers involved in the conflicts with a great number of servicemen past and present turning out for the event.
25 year-old Lieutenant James Adamson received the Military Cross for his Bravery in the line of the duty; he was back on the Island yesterday for the celebrations.
He said the day is a great way to remember those who have served in the armed forces over the years.
