A dog owner accused of letting his pet to starve to death after leaving the island has failed to appear in court again.
A warrant has now been issued for David Savage of Regent Street in Long Eaton in Nottingham, by magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 57 year old is charged with causing unnecessary suffering to an animal after moving to the UK last October.
The court heard he'd left his dog Murphy at home and made no arrangements for his care - the animal had to be put down.
The case has been adjourned until July 4.
