The Island's Treasury Minister says wage and energy inflation are to blame for government departments needing an extra £46 million.
This week, Dr Alex Allinson revealed four departments needed extra cash to make ends meet this year.
The Department of Health and Social Care topped the list, with an overspend of £30 million - almost 10 per cent over its budget.
Dr Allinson says departments with shortfalls have one thing in common:
Manxman sailings in doubt from tomorrow
Car falls down steep bank on Mountain Road
Panic over - Mcdonald's reopens at 11am tomorrow
Police say beat it to cars illegally parked during MJ tribute act
No dedicated prostate cancer screening programme, despite over 1,200 referrals
