A union on the Isle of Man is urging voters to help improve conditions for teachers.
A campaign by the NASUWT is calling for candidates to publicly commit to investing in the island's education system.
General Secretary, Dr Patrick Roach said teachers have supported pupils during the pandemic, and it is time for politicians to demonstrate their support for the teaching profession.
He added that the Manx General Election on the 23rd September is a chance to highlight the last decade where teachers' pay and pensions have been cut while workload pressures increased.
