130 bags of rubbish were removed from two of the Island's beaches over the weekend.
Volunteers from the Beach Buddies initiatives tackled the Point of Ayre and Fisher's Hill areas.
Around 70 people helped gather up plastic bottles, ropes, fishing gear and lobster pots.
Organiser Bill Dale says the people who help tidy up the beaches have shown a 'tremendous public spirit'.
