Drainage works are set to begin in Laxey as part of flood alleviation works.
The Department of Infrastructure will be in the area of the railway track near Ham and Egg terrace.
It says the new infrastructure will link to the recently installed drainage system that crosses under Mines Road.
To allow the project to take place, the public right of way from Mines to Baldhoon will close from November 13 to January 6.
Parking on the Mines Road Coach Park will also be suspended from November 6 to January 14.
