Police are appealing to the public for information following the theft of a tractor from a field in Colby.
The grey Ferguson 6 volt vintage tractor is described as being in a substandard condition and lacking its bodywork, it was stolen from a farmer’s field adjoining the Ballakillowey A36 road.
The vehicle was deemed undriveable and was only being retained for a young person’s community project.
Police believe the offender must have made use of a wagon with some form of lifting device as the gate to the field was locked throughout the period.
Anyone who has any information in relation to this matter is asked to contact Port Erin Police Station.
