Tender documents for the potential outsourcing of the Villa Marina and Gaiety Theatre complex are being finalised.
That's according to the Department of Economic Development which says due to the large number of stakeholders it has to ensure the process is "done right and not rushed".
It says it plans to release more details in the upcoming weeks and staff have been consulted throughout the period to ensure "maximum transparency".
However it's something the union Prospect, which represents some of the workers, disputes - negotiations officer Angela Moffatt says there's been a lack of communication:
