It comes following the boards plans to replace the Ben-my-Chree with a new ship - which will be designed and made over the next three years.
Through a survey hosted by Island Global Research passengers are being invited to submit their views.
It's thought results of it will then be used to shape on-board services.
The Steam Packet adds it's: "committed to maintaining a third back-up vessel, intended to be the Ben-my-Chree when the replacement vessel arrives."
