Braddan Commissioners say they want to bring in parking restrictions at the Roundhouse.
The £9 million building, which had a new access road created in December, would fall under the area's off-road parking restrictions if an order is amended.
Commissioners are asking for the public's views as they consider making the car park a two-hour disc zone from 8am until 10pm.
The new proposals would also mean only vehicles weighing under 2.5 tonnes would be able to park there.
