A new veterinary hospital could be coming to the Island, if plans are given the green light.
Proposals have been submitted to create one in Douglas with an application to convert the former car showroom at St Helena Millmount Garage.
If approved, minor changes would be made to the outside of the building and a small outside dog walking area would also be created.
Those behind the plans say the facility would aim to be open between 8am and 8pm each day and also run an out of hours service to benefit people across the whole Island.
They add with no veterinary hospital currently on Manx shores, it could be ideal for other vet practices to refer to if necessary.
